Feel free to come up with other examples while I'm away. No scores, just for fun.

No Google. My brother actually made them (at least once). And made me eat them (once). This is a hard topic though...I'd love to have a comeback -- but am drawing a blank!! Good for you for coming up with it.

But isn't Monty Python a great guess for anything in this vein!?

Peanut butter and ground beef.

Ok, this is kind of cheating since it was only in the movie BECAUSE it was so odd. But you can eat it here in Missouri. They say at the restaurant it was also in an old TV show too so maybe that could also count.

Silence of the Lambs...

This one is a little obscure but should be readily recognizable for anyone that has seen the movie in question.

eel soup, pickled eels, eels, eels, eels...

"Under the dusty almond trees, ... stalls were set up which sold banana liquor, rolls, blood puddings, chopped fried meat, meat pies, sausage, yucca breads, crullers, buns, corn breads, puff pastes, longanizas, tripes, coconut nougats, rum toddies, along with all sorts of trifles, gewgaws, trinkets, and knickknacks, and cockfights and lottery tickets."
