Speaking of It's a Wonderful Life overkill, a cable station on Long Island showed it continuously for 24-hours beginning on Christmas Eve. :wacko:

I've had 2 truly exquisite fruitcakes (one with dark rum and fresh cherries, the other "golden" with light rum, macadamia nuts, pineapple, coconut AND coconut milk, and mango), and a few dozen ones I spit out.

The light one sounds incredible. Do you have the recipe?

One can only assume that people who drink flavored coffee drink Folgers, Maxwell House and Eight O Clock too.

As for Fruitcake, hmmmmm = Spam in plastic wrap ?

I'll have to research it... it was from an early 1990s issue of Martha Stewart Living...
