Gets used on an almost daily basis.

The Durand.

We have both of these! Actually we have TWO TimeStacks because I phoned up Thermoworks to complain and the clerk suggested that I just needed a new one and she would give me a great price, so. One red and one blue. And I use both of them! 😅

The Durand was DH's birthday present.

I have had numerous timers including the Thermoworks time stacks.  All of them stopped working.  They are not cheap.  I asked Egulleters what they use and someone replied Alexa.  You have as many timers going as you like and you can name them.  The price is pretty well equivalent to dedicated timers.  Plus you get all the other features of Alexa.

Most times, if I'm timing just one thing, I use an old Kodak mechanical timer.  If I need countdown capability, I use a phone app.

Which Thermoworks timer crapped out on you?

I thought that the buttons of my most used timer position were a little weak, not broken yet, but worn.

Then I moved to the new Thermoworks, but still use the old one too.

So the buttons did not break.

I must have been in error. surprised.gif

I have numerous timers that I never use anymore. Alexa is my best friend. She plays my favorite music, too.

I've had this app on my telephone for about 5 years. You can set dozens of timers and groups of timers. You can set a different sound for each one if you want. With that and my alarm app I don't have any excuse for forgetting anything.

Unless you forget to set the timer.
