Good casual place for a birthday?

I need a spot for tomorrow night for 6 people for a BDAY party. I would like something fairly casual. I tried La Buca but they don't take groups over 4 on Saturdays and Cardero's is booked up till 9pm. For some reason I'm drawing a blank right now. Any ideas?

$13.80 a pound - done two or three ways. I know other Chinese restaurants may be cheaper - but for this kind of stuff, I go to the big guys to make sure everything is okay.

I think Chill Winston in Gastown is a great casual place. It's a restaurant with a loungy feel - excellent food and beer/wine selection and very moderately priced.

I had my birthday party at Chill Winston and 2nd that recommendation.

I'd also recommend Whinos, Wild Rice, Fiction, or Jules (if you can get a reso)
