@flippant that's interesting but Im a bit skeptical ........... why ? Amazon is about the velocity of the sale faster the better right now The Amazonians are Sold Out. See ? I can't imagine them holding back anyway the screen and the screws are an issue for me Back When done in the Home WorkShop I would have been able to deal with this in stride now not so fast but .... that's an issue that needs really to be solved to make the SZ-All a superiors product.

interesting here is the manual you can DL it and look into it you might be able to adjust three different pressures or not but thats different on getting various temps for a slow cooker it would be very nice if you are of the SlowCookerSchool to pic your slow temp for long cooks. I have briefly looked at the manual and as I have the newer NonUltra in the box the newer one might allow your to take into account your altitude. mine , as in many things these days is low.

get the original iPot as mentioned above you then can take your savings for an extra gasket maybe the glass lid as you used to do SlowCooking and of course , the most vital item would be the basket that sits above the 1 cup of water and does pressure seaming. PS is most impressive reason to own an iPot.

I have the feeling with of course no data to support it [ed.: what's new ? ] the the SZAll is either history or being redesigned sor the screen issues. I also have the feeling that the effort being made is towards the Spizall. such a shame I can't figure out how to do things for fun that I don't really need to do w the Spinner Beef jus would have been nice.

@lindag very generous of you isn't eG the best !

@Tri2Cook its too bad the WS in Canada seems to be different that USA w a free CC at WS I ended up w a iPot delivered for 101 US this one https://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/instant-pot-duo-plus-pressure-cooker/?pkey=e|instant%2Bpot|4|best|4294967106|1|24|%2Finstant-pot%2Felectrics|1&cm_src=PRODUCTSEARCH as you get 20 % off the first purchase and 20 + 25 dollar ( US ) certificats any way the original iPot will so all you want to do very well

yes. if screen changes were not problematic , and as far as I can tell they are .. Id get thesearzall and the TS8000 if they were available now. maybe there is a V.2.0 that solves the screen change problem thanks for pouting out that Id need both for max effect save disappointment if one didn't know about this.

@Toliver thanks I wonder what the 21.6 cm dimension represents : that's 8.2 " and would be large for the iPot. canceled my order.

in my area , BOS , a Chef's Life begins season 5 on Sat. Oct 7th. A show on tomatoes. I looking forward to it. Indeed Oct 7th seems to be the date in my area for new series for 5 higher end afternoon PBS cooking shows.

Im thinking about a Searzall. Amazon says 2 - 5 months. and with issues of changing out the screen ................... any idea if these things just have dropped out of sight due not term use issues ?

yes , the TJ's dijon is a staple here. and decently priced. I also agree on the Fz artichokes.

@kayb can you give me an Amazon Ref to those green thing-ids ? did you put two in the iP ? thanks.

@HungryChris great idea ! I was surprised that the mannated CB's were cheaper than the water based ones at TJ's by $ 1 / lbs. I didn't use the canola / oliviol they came in and just drained them as needed and added Tj's kalamata. Im going to Aldi's next week or so for the semiannual or annual Mayo Stock Up Ill see what their warted CB's go for

I also recumbent the SV everything video above Ive also leanred a few things from them the Anova bluetooth frequently goes on wall for about 110. I did play w the app for ' fun ' but never use it. I too had the original Anova. Mine was noisy. I gave it to my local library and people " check it out ' to see w SV is for them. consider a beer cooler for your container. I have several in different sizes. easy to move around and store when empty.

just stand back a little when opening the door. initially I wanted to bend down an poke my nose right in there to take a look. not the best idea ! i think steam-cooking is very forgiving . hope you got or will get that crackling skin that steam-baking seems to generate !

that looks quite delish however they way to to a Turkey it to de-bone it a la Julia and Jacques brine or not and place the Turk on the fantastic stuffing or your choice w the stock made from the bones and etc the day before as the liquid for the stuffing. bake etc and done.

I thought about Shaptons a long time ago when i first got my EP as far as I can recall they made them that fit the EP back then I learned a lot about sharpening from Knifeforum it seems to have moved on. I didn't get them way back when as they were thicker than the EP stones. no matter. I know that the EP jig allowed me for years to put any edge I wanted on my knives and there was no other way I could hand hone my small collection of Global knives now the EP will allow me to take exceptional care of my Watanabe knives

I think there are Rx's to consider from the New Cabal : MS Im fortunate that the TV shows end up on my computer for very little effort. I learn a lot from watching Rx's vein made. the magazine is at my public library and I take a look. the book is there soon and Ill take a look. BTW the same day MilkStreet 102 was aired ATK had their own show. I learned from each : MS a bit about pastry dough and on ATK a pear upside-down cake that looked worth trying way back when I made all sorts of upside-down cakes , and the best was w canned pears. good luck to you finding a really ripe pear in N.E, its possible , but you will be disappointed for the other 50 weeks of the year. Ill just let them Churn. after all , as far as I can tell , none of each Cabal are Felons

@Beebs thanks for the ref. I didn't know they advertise at all ! I wish the iPot group the best. they seem to deserve it. maybe they can talk the Anova Group currently vacationing in BoraBora or its equivalent to get back to work on their Steam Oven

try 7 , and if not enough , add a little more still the best toast ever , when properly managed , comes from the CSB or similar " tight' toaster BVXL really bakes bread so its not going to ever be ' toast ' and I have both machines.
