As discussed in the East Saigon thread, Ciao Bella in Cresskill is open on Mondays, actually 7 days a week. Rosie is the Ciao Bella in Hackensack run by the same people? I haven't been to either.

Solaris in Hackensack is also open on Mondays.

Here's one I should have thought of: Mie Thai - Woodbridge

Tommy,

There is a new Thai place in Hoboken on the corner of 2nd and Hudson, across the street from the movie theater.

Just thought you'd like to know as you just mentioned thai above.

I'm "new" to eating thai (and actually craving it on certain days) and both this new place, T Thai, and Sri Thai mentioned above are good (IMO).

Oh yeah, and they're open on Modays! (and also open 'til midnite Thru-Sat)

add legal seafood to the list (paramus and one other location perhaps?). i have to say again, the place is pretty damned good. super friendy and effecient service. great oysters. appropriate wine list. however, it all comes at quite a steep tariff.

Shameless self-promotion

Shameless self-promotion is always welcome. It's shameful deceitful shilling that isn't. We welcome restauranteurs to tell us all about their places. Just be forewarned that if you do it, some of us may visit and tell the world the truth, which can be good, or not.

Had dinner with my wife at Namaskaar in Paramus. Very Pleasant.

Split order of chicken samosas followed by Lamb Madras Curry and a Chicken Curry dish. Good basmati rice with peas and mint. Healthy portion of Naan. Basket of Popadum with tamarind on the table. + A couple of Kingfishers for me and a glass of white for the wife. Got out for about 60 bucks inc the ++.

Nice pleasing meal. Good surroundings. Good service. Neat and tidy looking place. One of my favorite Indian restaurants.

address nick?

Route 4 East.

In the east end of The Mall at IV. Next to the dodge dealer. The same mall that houses Macy's Furniture and the Jewelry Exchange. Koreana used to be in the west end of this mall next to Pizzeria Uno.
