Perhaps he/she was working on the basis that one had to walk past a strip club to get there, and walking past strip clubs is something journos just can't imagine.

And I speak as a hack of long standing...

It no longer exists, but it was lovely.

i'd probably go for a starter and a main course, then if you're not full maybe have a pudding too.

as for wine, i'd certainly recommend it, red is quite nice

Give the beer selection a look as it is extensive, interesting and different. Don't be afraid to ask for advice about beer with your choices on the menu either.
