Development of new RTE meal

Hi there everyone. I am a Massey University student based out of New Zealand and I am currently conducting research in to the ready to eat (RTE) market. The aim of my research is to develop and produce a new product that will become a part of the RTE market. To do this I am looking for current consumer ideas as to what they want to see in an RTE snack or meal. Any ideas or opinions for a product that you believe would be desirable in this market would be greatly appreciated, the more detailed the better!!

  I'd like to see freeze-dried/irradiated stocks which can dispense with (or radically reduce) added salt.
