Gyro meat

Recommended Posts

I don't want to go through the process of making my own gyro meat; do any fellow E-Gulleteers know where I can purchase it in Center City?

I love getting my gyro groove on when the St. George's festival comes around or when we go to Effie's, but I'd also like to cook it at home. Please let me know if you've found a place that sells it.

The foodie moved out of East Falls and into Center City...and is eating her way through the city one good place at a time.

the food trucks at penn usually had gyro meat in boxes, pre-sliced (and actually i assume pre-cooked as well, considering how long they grilled them) that they used to cook on the grill. i wonder where they got them. mighta been from parthenon, but i don't know who the retailer would be in town.

(edited to change link to what i was actually looking for)
