  1. If it helps here you can see and smell a few wisps coming off the dry aged steak...
  2. I have five or six pasteurized thighs left in the refrigerator. I am planning to cook one thigh tonight but hadn't thought to use the Philips for it. Maybe I'll take one for the team. However I was disappointed when I tried cooking thighs from raw. The Philips gets too hot. https://forums.egullet.org/topic/158072-philips-avance-grill/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-2192483

    Is that your oven?
  8. Could have been worse. Might still have had some drink left in it.
  9. Is the grill accessory only available in Canada?
  10. Not fair, I did not get a grill accessory.
  11. Probably $20-$30.

Tonight: More Tskhare Neknebi, this time with lobio, a different lobio than my usual recipe. Lobio with walnuts and spices, since I had a bowl of walnut paste that needed using up. Campari tomatoes with Momofuku ranch. Pheasant's Tears Saperavi. Somewhere in the refrigerator I lost the cork so I am finishing up the bottle.
  15. The store indeed may be reputable but are it's suppliers? Some while ago I read something, probably either in the NY Times or WSJ, about counterfeits in discount stores that buy this type of merchandise. But I am old and may be confused, so carry on.
  16. Burger King lets you choose.

  18. Teo, speaking as a proud Prime member the $8.32 price does not seem far off. It may not represent my average order price, but it sure is about close to my median order price. Today a shower curtain was delivered for $8.59. Yesterday a Moroccan cookbook for $9.26. A few days ago a pound of yeast for $8.78.
  19. But seriously famous name cookware at closeout discounter places makes me quite suspicious. Note I am not suggesting the store is intentionally selling counterfeit merchandise.
  20. They fit on the counter.
  21. Thanks. I had one of Steve's books but I didn't have Heirloom Beans. Now I do.
  22. I'd wonder if it's counterfeit.
  23. @MetsFan5 if price makes a difference the CSO is down to $159.99 on amazon.
  24. Anova must have them scared. CSO is down to $159.99, lowest price I've seen.
