1) Ron Zacapa Centenario

2) Cruzan Estate Single Barrel

3) Port Morant 24yo Blackbeard's Reserve Demerara

4) Appleton 21

5) Rhum Saint James Hors de Age

Course that leaves out another 10 or so of my favorites. Ah choices choices.

Anyone hear of "Ron Viejo de Caldas", a Colombian dark?

Yes, I found Ron Veijo De Caldas (colombia) in a local grocery store here in Iowa, USA.

I paid $16 and I didn't enjoy it(I did drink the whole bottle to be fair). Now I can say I've tried it and that's enough.

I found the licorice taste to be overwhelming. Fortunately, I didn't buy it but did open the bottle. I expected something better.

2. Ron del Barrilito from PR - 2 or 3 stars, doesn't much matter

3. Mocambo Solera from Mexico - cheap and good
