Japanese food blogs seem to fade away even faster than those in English, and I've seen many a promising site disappear. So if you're looking for Japanese updates, I can't help you-- I no longer bother keeping track.

It's by an American woman, with little previous background in Japanese cooking, who is cooking her way through an entire Japanese cookbook. She's been chronicling her cooking adventures for almost a year on Cook's Talk (another food forum), but has just recently started her own blog (which I only discovered now as I searched for the address of that other forum).
