  1. Have you heard about noodles that's perfect for summer? When I visited Seoul last summer one of the dishes I had to try was naengmyeon. My friend recommended it as a must-eat in Seoul https://gowithguide.com/blog/seoul-tourism-statistics-2023-the-ultimate-guide-5535 She wasn't wrong - it was so refreshing! It's Korean cold noodles made with buckwheat flour. The noodles have a nice chew and are served in an icy broth with slices of cucumber and other veggies to help you cool off. I tried mine at a place in Insadong.
  2. @KennethTThanks for sharing all the delicious food photos and insights from your trip! Singapore really does have an amazing food culture. It's such a shame to hear that traditional places like Lai Huat are closing though.

    Breakfast 2023

That fried chicken looks absolutely amazing! Fried chicken has really become a cultural phenomenon in Korea from what I've heard. People always say it's almost impossible to have bad fried chicken there - the Korean chefs have obviously perfected the art of the coating. Was it easy to make at home? I'd love to try an authentic Korean fried chicken recipe myself. I'm visiting Seoul soon and really want to sample the original fried chicken and other Korean Foods listed in this article https://gowithguide.com/blog/seoul-tourism-statistics-2023-the-ultimate-guide-5535 Thanks for sharing - now I'm craving it too!

    Dinner 2023

This looks absolutely delicious! I'm a big fan of Korean food so anything with gochujang is right up my alley. The mix of flavors from the radish, carrot, onion and the different sauces/pastes sounds really well balanced. Was it tasty?

    Dinner 2023

I tried it once in the Philippines when I visited the country. It was good. They only marinate it with salt, but with my version, I tried it with onion, garlic, pepper, and lime.

    Dinner 2023

Hey Kenneth, that tuna panga is delicious! To prepare it, First, we like to make a quick marinade with soy sauce, sliced onions, chopped garlic, and the juice from calamansi limes (you can also use regular lime). We toss cubed tuna steaks in the marinade and let it sit for about 30 minutes to an hour. This infuses so much flavor. Then we fire up the grill. When the coals are hot, we lay the marinated tuna steaks right on the grates. We only grill for a couple of minutes per side - just long enough to get nice sear marks but keeping the inside rare. Give it a try sometime, I think you'd love it. 😀

  8. Not a wine or alcohol lover but we usually drink this during Christmas or New Year. 🍷
  9. Wow! This looks so different than the usual chicken curry, but I think it's delicious. I'm excited to try this. Thanks for sharing!
  10. It sounds like you have your Starbucks order down pat! A Venti green tea lemonade, unsweetened, with a couple of Splenda packets added, can be a refreshing and energizing choice.
