Ive been looking into hard cider recently ,
and have come up w some refreshing results , both at Totl Wine and Trader Joes.
TJ's has a yellow label system for items exclusive to them , and a white label for non-exclusive
items. the white label items are usually cheaper @ totalWine.
Tj's
is excellent . dry , but not bone Sahara dry. $ 9.99 12 12
Tj's also have Stormalong , 12.99 4 cans the same at Total wine 11.99
https://www.totalwine.com/search/all?text=stormalong
this is dryer , and quite crisp.
tried this from TW today :
this is very dry and quite tart . for some reason @ TW $ 9,99 4 cans
this
is very interesting . its unfiltered , and resembles cider you purchased at an orchard that you then let ferment
at room temp , to your desired dryness . thus , you might enjoy the orchards best , w some sweetness , by refrigerating
before the natural yeast give up and die.
this version has a little sweetness left to it. not too much , but not bone dry as I like the natural orchard stuff.
there are many more brands in my area than there were 5 0r so years ago .
one brand , Angry Orchard I don't care for at all . it taste a bit soapy to me.
so TJ's exclusive for most of the time , and an occasional storm along , but from TW mot TJ's
