A new month, some new titles: Fergus Henderson's "The Complete Nose to Tail" Kindle Edition $2.99US There may be a list of recipes but I couldn't get the "Look Inside" feature to work (the server kept timing out). A memoir (no recipes): "As Always, Julia: The Letters of Julia Child and Avis DeVoto" Kindle Edition $2.99US From the popular San Francisco restaurants and Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market food stand, Tacolicious, "Tacolicious: Festive Recipes for Tacos, Snacks, Cocktails, and More" Kindle Edition $2.99US Use the "Look Inside" feature to see the list of recipes. John LaFemina, the chef/restaurateur who created New York's Ápizz restaurant "A Man and His Meatballs: The Hilarious but True Story of a Self-Taught Chef and Restaurateur" Kindle Edition $1.99US A sort of "how to" open your own restaurant book with recipes. "Turkish Recipes!: A Turkish Cookbook with Kitchen Tested Turkish Recipes" Kindle Edition $2.99US Use the "Look Inside" feature to see the list of recipes. I believe this has been posted in the past: "Mastering the Art of French Eating: From Paris Bistros to Farmhouse Kitchens, Lessons in Food and Love" Kindle Edition $1.99US A memoir of sorts with a recipe at the end of each chapter. A reference book "Kitchen Confidant: An Indispensable Guide for the Baker, Drinker, and Cook" Kindle Edition $.60US "Sweetie Pie's Cookbook: Soulful Southern Recipes, from My Family to Yours" Kindle Edition $1.99US She's a celebrity chef (according to the Amazon info page). There is a list of recipes but unfortunately, the text is blue on a dark purple background making it completely illegible. David Solmonson's "The 12 Bottle Bar: A Dozen Bottles. Hundreds of Cocktails. A New Way to Drink" Kindle Edition $1.99US From the blogger of the same name "The Amateur Gourmet: How to Shop, Chop, and Table Hop Like a Pro (Almost)" Kindle Edition $2.99US Bon Appétit columnist Marie Simmons' "The Amazing World of Rice: with 150 Recipes for Pilafs, Paellas, Puddings, and More" Kindle Edition $1.99US Priced slightly more than the regular sale-priced cookbooks: "The Union Square Cafe Cookbook: 160 Favorite Recipes from New York's Acclaimed Restaurant" Kindle Edition $3.99US No list of recipes but if you use the "Look Inside" feature and scroll down, you can see some of the recipes. Last month it was a Game of Thrones cookbook, this month it's something a little different: "Doctor Who: The Official Cookbook: 40 Wibbly-Wobbly Timey-Wimey Recipes" Kindle Edition $1.99US Use the "Look Inside" feature to see the list of recipes which were completely alien to me. Well reviewed by Doctor Who fans. I am a US Prime member and the price you see may vary.

Dave, thanks for the correction. Which makes the constant improvement of the IP even more admirable. I wonder if the CEO has any say as to whether it will continue to be improved upon at a similar rate now that Corelle owns it.
-
Being a Kickstarter(?) campaign, the IP people had an incentive to keep improving the Pot and its functions to spur sales. Will this pattern of product improvement continue under Corelle? Will Corelle care enough to continually improve the I-Pot or will they reach a version of the I-Pot and say "Good enough" and leave it at that?
-
"Instant Pot is merging with the owner of Pyrex" Will this be a good thing?
-
Yes, the article confirming this was posted up above here (click).
-
If you go to Lay's web site (click) you can look through their current flavor offerings. Sadly, no wasabi ginger amongst them.
-
"Lay’s Adds Beer Cheese, Flamin' Hot Dill Pickle, and Lime & Sea Salt Potato Chip Flavors" If they show up in your area, please take one for the team and post a review.
-
So now I'm confused... "Amazon to open all-new grocery stores separate from Whole Foods" So Amazon is going to compete with itself/Whole Foods? The article mentions that the new stores will be smaller, may be cashless and will likely be able to sell stuff they can't sell at Whole Foods. This is so...odd.
-
What about buying something simple like a sink screen? (click) It'd prevent something small from going down the drain.

Sorry to quote myself but I have found it interesting that one of Souped Up Recipes videos was recently edited. This is the video in question: Authentic Szechuan Sauce For Dumplings, Noodles or Eggrolls https://youtu.be/qozPuF1lU4Q I had watched it before and was alarmed to see at the end of the video she said the sauce she made in the video could stay in the refrigerator for 2 months or at room temperature for 30 days. Which was insane. The recipe was chiles, garlic, salt and sesame oil and a couple of other things. There wasn't any acid to act like a pickling agent, and there wasn't nearly enough salt in the recipe to act like a preservative. Now when I view that video that "best if used by" info at the end was edited out.** **However, she may have edited the crazy info out of the video, but she forgot to edit the recipe which is posted in the Info section about the video below her name on the video page. You can see clear as day: I think someone sent her a message that her information about how long the sauce would last was on the counter/in the fridge would lead to food poisoning. She edited the video but not the printed recipe. It makes me wonder how much other misinformation is out there on YouTube.
