My first air fryer was that type - after having it fall apart on to the floor I migrated to the type where the basket does not separate from the tray The tray is the basket - it has a removable grill in the bottom to catch grease and allow air circulation p

To me, frozen foods tends to work best (fries vs potataoes) - I have the Instant (Pot) Vortex - pleased with its size and price - "oven" types not reccomended https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07VHFMZHJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 btw the way, I only paid CDN$139 back in November - watch for sales or Warehouse Deals p

Anyone tried making their own espresso powder? Apparently you take the used pucks, crumble them then dry them - store in airtight container. p

Follow-up later this morning: You have already been added to the waitlist for tank covers, I have SO-449422 as a reference. As I mentioned in my previous email, I even added a new water tank with the tank cover so that you'll have an entirely new assembly. An email notification with the tracking details will be sent to you once the tank cover is available and is ready to be shipped. p

Anova may be acting proactively regarding tank issues - I contacted support regarding getting a shield and gasket for mine (no cracking yet) - their reply: Thanks for reaching out to ANOVA Support! I can certainly add you to the waitlist for our tank covers. I will make sure to add a new tank with the tank cover so that you'll have a new water tank assembly when it's available. Nice to know, but no idea when I might expect it. p

I agree, if you're using a scale for the rice it's a no brainer to use it for the water as well βΊοΈ p

I wish I had access to fresh milled rice where I live π One thing though, weighing water??? Weighing solid ingredients I can see as compression can affect amount, but liquids don't compress so it's not necessary - I have a set of graduated cylinders I use if I need the accuracy. p

I thought a very HONEST comparison of the two machines. Their appraisal of the creami although they don't sell it was fair and unbiased. Obviously they admitted $6000 vs $200 was a huge selling point. A well done review/video - Thanks Jo p

I wonder why they put the 20 amp plug on it? The device is rated @ 1800 watts @ 120 volts which equates to 15 amps - most modern kitchens have 20 amp circuits with standard sockets. To increase its perceived exclusivity? p
-
Sorry, I didn't realize it used a 20 amp plug - roll up your sleeves and go for it! p

To all users of these food delivery services - in the interests of full disclosure and transparency, could the cost of your order be included - it's not helpful to display such bountiful harvests and hide the fact the order cost $500 (just kidding) but it's more important to note the cost of what you got so that others can see the value of your purchase. p

I've had my Breville Milk Cafe for about 7 years without a problem - used every morning - only problem is that it takes about 4 minutes to complete - induction heater and the frothing disc is magnetically spun p
-
Safely yes, inefficiently most definitely - your espresso machine doesn't have a steam wand? Check out Amazon for milk warmer/heaters - I have the Breville Milk Cafe which produces hot microfoam - perfect for lattes and cappuccinos Considerably less expensive and more convenient. p

I think a rack is better than a perforated pan because of the increased air flow and by placing a sheet pan on the shelf below you have the best solution - the racks I referenced earlier fit perfectly in the oven shelves - they just slide in - I ordered just about every different rac from Amazon before I found these that fit - don't go by advertised dimensions https://www.amazon.com.au/s?k=Hamilton+Housewares+Stainless+Steel+Cooling+Rack&ref=nb_sb_noss p
