    Blasphemy brassica indeed.
  3. Thanks, and now I have one of my own. It is a very pretty pot. I was expecting the Kinko was Japanese but mine is actually from Malaysia. I hope to put it to work sometime later on this week.
  4. @Pankaj, in what country are the A4 Box manufactured?

    Dinner 2019

I found a chuck eye at Shoprite, I believe it was last summer. I grilled it on the Philips as I recall. The steak was good, but not in the category of a ribeye nor a NY strip. For braising I'd think chuck eye would have nothing to recommend it over a chuck roast. If a chuck eye were staring at me I'd again grill it on the Philips.
  6. I haven't made it in years* but I used to prepare a Greek inspired dish of spinach, green seedless grapes, pine nuts, and garlic. And I want some now. *not sure why not.
  7. If I were into that I'd charge a lot extra for delivering in the snow.
  8. I pasteurized them to cook later.
  9. I'm anovaing some pork back ribs at the moment, 58C.
  10. Most interesting.
  11. Though I prefer my asparagus grilled on the Philips or simply boiled.
  12. Last night's half kg boule was baked in my CSO. Though the baguette was not.
  13. Yes took it apart, spilled the water on the floor, and everything.
  14. Milk and cookies. Milk not shown.

But I don't think my landlord would approve.
  16. Wow. I use steam for almost everything.
  17. Yes, and it may be time again. That or return it under warranty.
  18. While I was baking my bread last night the no steam alarm went off. Water reservoir was full. I had just performed a vinegar flush a few weeks ago and I use only deionized water. I am not thrilled.
  19. Did they come with your Philips?
  20. I note they made no mention of the Paragon.
  21. Figures. Though I could chide the CSO not being big. And when is CI going to test the anova oven?
  22. I beg to help. For trussing I recommend Butcher's Code ties: http://amzn.com/B01HR30HT6 I have not felt the need for scraping my Philips but for scraping other surfaces (such as the CSO window) I use a Kyocera: http://amzn.com/B00012F0X4 My Philips came as an amazon bundle with a metal scraper. That metal scraper looks dangerous.
