That case of :Canadian Club looks like a good start for your stay! Posted whilst enjoying my evening martini.

I like to keep a package of Texas Toast in the freezer for just such an occasion. Maybe some Hawaiian Buns would work too.

I made my way into town this morning to get my nails done and to pick up the essentials for a dinner of ground beef tacos.....beef, lettuce, tomato to which I'll add some yellow rice, beans, salsa, onion on burrito size tortillas. Tacos my way.

There is a skill for loading a dishwasher that comes from using the same machine for many years. You just know exactly where everything fits most efficiently.

I made a lovely loaf of honey whole wheat in the CSO yesterday using the steam bake option. It was in an 8x4-½" pan and although it rose significantly it didn't meet the top of the oven....I did tent the loaf after the first 15 minutes to prevent overbrowning. It turned out really well.

If you don't get a satisfactory answer here you may want to try KAF's Baker's Hotline for help; it's easy to either email them, give them a phone call or use the 'chat' option.

I so rarely use mine that it's not really a danger.

My favorite cake for my birthday is an ice cream cake from the store. DH's was German chocolate cake. Now that he's gone I have go get my own if I want one. Better check the freezer space first.

Sounds like great time!

You could try pouring three cups of water into the bowl to see. My FP has a 14 cup capacity and to me it looks really big.

Can tell us more about the needed translations?

Those items your husband makes in the m/w are so much better when made in the CSO that I always make them that way...I just allow for the extra time (have a beer while I wait). Reduce the temps by about 25 degrees when using convection.

My nearby state-owned liquor store didn't have Absolut Peppar so I bought Stoli instead for my *Gibson*. Not as good....I love the spicy Peppar.

Foods that are Divisive Because of their Taste/Aftertaste

Tilapia. I've some in restaurants that was very good but the stuff I bought in the store had an awful taste that to me was a moldy taste. Some describe it a 'muddy'. Whatever it is it's turned me off it. -
Enjoying a Sunday morning Bloody Mary, complete with spicy pickled asparagus spears.

Mine, which is coming up soon on two years old*, is a lot noisier than it used to be , especially on convection. *I love how Amazon can tell me my purchase dates.
