I mostly use Corningware as well, but in a pinch I'll use foil and shape it into a square and fold up the sides an inch or so to create a boat. Easiest cleanup ever.

I don't see any electric cords...what am I missing?

I can attest to the lingering smells on the silicone rings. I made red beans and rice a month ago yet I can still smell it.

What you're seeing is one of the many reasons I don't bake in my bread machine. It's so much easier to control when I just use my oven and my results are a lot better. The machine is so much easier to use for mixing and kneading and I don't have to wash my big mixer bowl, beater and hook. The machine cleans up in no time.

My lunch was frozen waffles with syrup, sunny side eggs on top and breakfast links.

My Mom, who was an exceptional home cook, roasted a goose one year for Thanksgiving. After that we didn't vary from our traditional turkey....it just wasn't the same without turkey.

In my kitchen it's been canned beets in the past...more than once.

OMG, hereI am again. Just now, while putting together the ingredients for a Mac 'n cheese recipe, I grabbed a can of what I thought was condensed milk. You guessed it, it was evaporated milk. Must I star over? I asume it's ruined. Never mind. I read it wrong, it is spossed to be evaporated milk. All is okay...a thank goodness, this has been a trying day so far.

I will never again leave a can of Mandarin orange segments in my kitchen cabinet for so long I can't remember when I put them there. Went to said cabinet to get a box of macaroni noodles and the box was stuck fast to the shelf. It seems the can had leaked (it was completely empty) all over and every package nearby was also stuck. How the hell I'm going to scrape up that hardened goo is a mystery.

I agree with you about her mostly over the top wardrobe...she's way too smart and accomplished for that. The folk at Bravo need to pull their heads out.

My Induction Zo is The 5-1/2 cup model..when I bought it the smaller3 cupmodel was considerably more expensive and it’s size wasn't much smaller so I opted for the larger model. I never make more than a couple cups of rice at a time. Still, I really love mine.

I searched Amazon for some really good smoked salmon but what I found was exhorbitantly expensive with shipping. I then looked in my nearby grocery and found some Tony's wild sockeye (from Oregon) smoked salmon that is really, really good. Crackers, a little thin sliced cheddar and the salmon...wonderful.

The ratings for this rice cooker on Amazon are excellent. I have the Zo induction model and it makes the best rice ever but, of course, it can't do the crispy bottom kind.
