Interesting. The waste elimination is good. As is the re-use factor. Does everyone use that organizer shown? Seems like it takes up a lot of room? It also greatly deters one from drinking straight from the jug.

Huh. I learn something new every day. Milk in a bag. I think KennethT. needs to market the spigot idea. No offense meant here, but that looks like a pain in the ass to deal with. I'd have milk all over the place

And, how do you pour it?

Liuzhou---I always forget about chicken livers. I made a bolognese a few years ago that used them and we really liked it. Thanks for the reminder. Your pasta looks great. FauxPas--Ohhhhh fresh peaches. YUM. Patrick--LOL, nothing at ALL wrong with buying it. LiamsAunt--I am going to steal your pasta fresca and your zoodles ideas. Looks SO good. Oh man, you guys are going to get sick of me waxing poetic about my tomatoes. But, damn, do I love a good 'mater. And okra. I thought of KayB while making and eating tonight. Fried okra and tomatoes. I need nothing else. I made a tuna pasta salad. My husband really likes this. I think it's about the only pasta salad that he ever requests. Fried up some bass And had a nice summer meal

I will never judge a tomato sandwich, but, I don't like cheese either...HOWEVER, I've never tried it. I need to point out that you're both missing the lettuce part.

Ohhhhh Patrick, this looks wonderful. Would you share your babaghanoush recipe? I'm going to have more ripe eggplants soon.

Did they both come with a hard boiled egg? I guess that's an egg? -
Had to google Bostocks. Figs? YUM. edited: I guess there are way more different kinds. I'm a sucker for figs so I glommed onto that right off the bat lol.

Delicious looking pie, David! So, that pound cake that I showed above...SO good, but it's just the two of us and we didn't eat it fast enough. I should have put it in the freezer. Anyway, I had about half a cake left and it got stale in the fridge. I didn't want to waste all that goodness so I made a bread (cake?) pudding out of it. A couple cups of milk, 4 eggs and about half a cup of sugar mixed up and poured over the cubes of cake. I also put in some raspberries. Served warm , just out of the oven. Pretty good- 487 replies

I dried some cherry tomatoes in the oven yesterday to keep in a jar covered with olive oil. All those tomatoes and the jar is only this full I'll be doing some more today.

FauxPas and Scuba, your salmon has me wanting some. Both look very moist and delicious. Liuzhou, I LOVE cabbage rolls. I usually stuff with meat, but I may have to try your way. Gfweb, I love how melty the lasagna looks. Good stuff. Venison tostadas and rice for us Edit: I swear this picture didn't look this blurry before

at the asterisk. I have dinner for breakfast most days. Leftovers from the night before. Sweet foods give me a nauseous feeling if I eat them in the morning for some reason.

I love his dry sense of humor. I LOVE that he likes Ina. He's spot on there. I like Anthony *shrug* I really do. I wish him the best of luck. I was kinda shocked when he got married.

Crusty knees Oh, you brought back a fun memory. When I was a kid my Grammy would make nachos for dinner--the guac would have been an excellent addition, but that was never added. But the nachos were such a treat. I remember one epic night that we had several servings of nachos while I watched Gone With The Wind for the first time

Do you just throw the okra on a tray whole?
