I just have to bump this up for the holiday season. I can't tell you guys how often having these in the freezer has saved me stress and time. I use them to make a quick breakfast for Ronnie in the morning with an egg. I use them for appetizers. Heck I've used them for dinner. SO handy. I just made a huge batch.

A few meals to catch up on. It's been a phenomenal duck season here--we've eaten a LOT of duck. I've been searching for new recipes. I had a thought that maybe I could make @Ann_T's honey garlic chicken only using duck instead of chicken. I had some teal breasts so I sliced them like I do the chicken. It worked really well! Very tender. Tried to make a huge batch of egg rolls so I could have some in the freezer. My wrappers had been in the freezer for too long and they didn't hold up well. So, I got a few made. Must go to the Asian market next week so I can make more. SV'd a pork loin. As usual, very tender. Salad using some of @HungryChris 's marinated mushrooms (I'm almost out ) Ronnie's brother makes the best hot sauce and he gave us a jar so hot wings last night.

Oh ditto for me--there are only two of us, but same. I throw away more shredded cabbage cole slaw mix than you would believe. Same for limes. Oh and also mushrooms. Sigh.

Well dang. I used to go to craft shows a few years ago, but like you said, they are few and far between anymore. I wonder if you could do a set up at a fall Farmer's Market? -

It snowed all day yesterday. It was so perfect. Not much of it stuck, but I'll take what I can get. Hopefully this means a big snowy winter Anyway, venison chili had to be made--and some cornbread. Half cheese and Hatch chile and half plain.

I love being on the road with you---I know that at times you very much miss your house, though, but, hey...at least you have us 😁. J'adore the fireplace under the TV. I've never seen that before. So cozy. I never knew Wal-Mart allowed that, but you're sure right. Guarantee it gives them additional business and their parking lots are the size of Texas. There is a chance for measurable snow here tomorrow and Thursday so I hope you guys are past me....I know how allergic your husband is of the white stuff.

I saw a commercial for one of these last week and did a search here and didn't find any mention of it either. I use the heck out of my Instant Pots. I'm very intrigued by the claim that it crisps......

Ronnie shot some nice pintail ducks so I roasted them in the CSO. Had that along with some rice pilaf. Ignore the awful green stuff that was supposed to be asparagus. I think the grocery store actually sold us small trees.
