Im on Weight Watchers and I save up as many points all day just so I can fit in an Almond Butter and Jelly Sandwich every night... YUMMY! I will admit to being an addict. But its good for you. Sara Moulton was a very knowledgeable person, YES. But, I also thought her annoyingness factor was too high. She apologized too much for touching the food and banging the utensils on the bowls and her on and off smile was distracting... And everytime she cooked turkey it was "Turkey-Lurkey" She could be as plain as a Quaker or ugly as a horse and flat chested and Id have watched her religiously if she wasnt so annoying... She also chewed with her mouth open...

I hope I dont sound uncaring or bigoted against ALL poor people (cause Im not) but one Christmas I bought my, how shall I say, Welfare Abusing Drama Queen, "I have Expensive Tastes" ex sister in law and her hubby, a nice bottle of Gourmet Balsamic Vinegar and Extra Virgin Olive Oil for $50.00. Only to have her "forget" who gave it to her 6 months later and tell me (while sitting on my couch) "Last Christmas someone gave us vinegar and oil and we tasted the oil and it was rancid already in the bottle, we threw it out!" I doubt HIGHLY, that Williams Sonoma would sell already rancid oil... -

I was at Target today with my son, and of course when you are at Target or Walmart with a kid you must buy them something! (LOL) So after steering him away from XBOX and Wii land, I got him over to the Magazines and thats near PC Software and I noticed all the new Cooking Games they had... Titles like: Chocolatier Fast Food Tycoon Burger Island Roller Rush (Drive-In Eatery) Diner Dash: Flo on the Go Restaurant Tycoon Restaurant Empire Cake Mania I, II, and III Diner Dash 2 Coffee Tycoon (Im sure Starbucks started this way!) Coffee House Chaos Do any of you buy these and try them out prior to getting a restaurant of your own? Or are they just too campy?

I am constantly intrigued by HACKING things. Even though I never truly hack anything, I just read about it and gain knowledge I think things like Molecular Gastronomy are fantastic. I love nutter butters but have never seen their wafers....those look sooo good, even tho the picture is like 1 inch :-p Where do you usually find them? ← All the supermarkets near me have always sold them since I was a little girl... Thats the picture yes. But she posted the actual recipe once and it had sugar. I love it! Im on Weight Watchers (Actually the much more efficacious Wendy Plan) and Kabocha Salad is 1 point if made with Splenda and Lite Mayo. So I wanna make it that same way as Kris did but with my adjustments.
