  2. One of our standard bike trips is to Hog Hollow in Philipsburgh @ 400 RT 57 ....(908) 454-HAWG. Todays lunch was as good as it gets and included the "weekend special" of fred flinstone beef ribs. Actually it was the arrival of the beef ribs that prompted the call for the camera. So I ran out on my ribs and grabbed the camera from my bag. the Family Dinner of Beef Ribs came with a pound each of Sweet potato fries and Coleslaw Pulled chicken Sandwich with a side of chili...and a diet soda Your basic half rack with 2 sides A 1 pound baked potato with Butter, Cheese, Pulled Pork, Chives, and Sour Cream Tracey
  3. Someone else but my family remember La Choy fried rice in the can?!?!? I loved that stuff...we actualy were talking about it on the 4th. Tracey
  4. The only business I have ever walked to in my neighborhood is the Mechanic, not even Gas station just mechanic, not even a soda machine(1 mile). The nearest pizza 2miles, all you can eat crab leggs bar/restaurant almost 3 miles, deli/liquor store 3 miles. tracey

So....When the dough crawls out of the loaf pan, wraps its tendrils around your baking stone, and tries to drag it into the other room, its obvious you shouldn't leave it to rise for the entire length of Pirates of the Caribbean and dinner out. damn damn damn the dough looked meaner than the Kraken from the movie. tracey

  10. Hmmm potato chips made with olestra -vs- Activia yogurt gimme the chips and keep the Fibercon. Now if you are already hyper regular I wouldnt advise any of them What ya need is to understand what these chemicals names in products really mean, like isnt Polysorbate80 just a seaweed extract...if we call it "Asian vegan gelatin" is that better? tracey

I remember we made Jelly in home ec then sealed the jars with wax... with all the herbs maybe a quiche, then they can go home and make brunch... or a yogurt cheese start on thursday draining the yogurt then on friday you could add herbs and maybe make crackers and a fruit platter strawberry shortcake, they will learn biscut technique and to macerate fruit and whip cream, you could even take some cream further and make butter to put on biscuts with homemade jelly tracey

  14. A lifetime ago there was an icecream place in Allendale called Rainbows that had a similar machine and all the candies and cookies and frozen fruit to mix in. Sounds similar, they dropped in a block about the size of an icecream sandwich and all your goodies and pulled the handle....Vanilla ice cream with double watermelon Jolly Ranchers tracey

Lee's is KAKA...my humble opinion I really miss Chans from rt 4 in Paramus...Flaming PU PU for 2 and they had this filet mignon dish that was pounded thin and rolled with ham then battered and deep fried. Or the Chans from rt 17 in Mahwah a dish called Gim Lo Wonton (yes it has been more than 20 yrs) it was like sweet and sour everything with pineapple and garnished with fried wontons....MMMMMMM tracey

  22. A little worstershire, lots of Franks hot sauce, touch of maple syrup, onion powder and pepper you are good to go. No its not BBQ but it make a mean pulled pork sandwich tracey

  24. Hey Chris et all has anyone spoken to some one who is wet or even dry aging beef?? They may have some insight on how green is too green for Ronnie to eat or how fuzzy is too fuzzy for you? T
