Lunch today was supermarket sushi...a nice example of supermarket sushi. AND a vanilla frosted donut with rainbow sprinkles. I know that Dunkin Donuts stink, and that Stop and Shops are even worse. I even know that Shoprite has good ones, I had just forgotten How good they are. It was an effort not to drive across town for another one, and to actually go back to work instead. tracey

I will take any oportunity to tell this story... I was dining many years ago in a steak house in one of the Connecticut casinos. A 30ish man and an older woman were seated near us, he had no arms. He was fitted with pincer like hand replacements. This man managed to eat his soup and appetizer on his own, and then a steak was presented to him. After it was presented to him a second staffer set up a bus tray sharpened his knife and carved the steak tableside. It was then replated and presented again. If I ever need someone to cut my steak for me I want it done just like that. tracey

Two down and one more to go. Last night was the NJ state farm and horse show or something like. For me it was the cheesesteak, bratwurst, roasted corn, funnel cake fair. All of which were quite tasty. I was getting a little worried when we went to visit the livestock, the pigs were definately getting agitated...I swear I didnt eat any pork yesterday, at all. I could have had pulled pork for lunch at work, but I think I had that a few times already this week....Shhh dont tell the pigs. 3 Weeks till the BIG E in Springfield Mass....got to get my room reservations soon. tracey

MMmm more ribs, but even more important.... The bestest hottest damn shrimp I've ever had. 1 pound of tender little peel and eat shrimp doused with about 1/2 cup of chopped garlic and a HOT dressing that seems to be hot sauce and oil. Its the kind of heat that hits the tip of your tongue and stays there as you slurp all the dressing off each shrimp, then peel it, then run it back through the dressing and eat. Yes you must double dip so eat with a loved one or get your own order. tracey

I have used it for both, like crisping up the skin on smoked chicken pieces. A friend used to just fill the whole thing up with charcoal and rock on. It came with charcoal grates and cooking grates for the entire space. tracey

Not to get cranky on you, but if you scroll back up to my earlier post (here) and follow the link, you'll find something very similar for much less money. I'm still seeing these in Kroger stores for -- depending on which one you're at -- for $100 to $150. ← Oh yeah....home despot, lowes etc shouldnt be more than 150. Mine was 150 ish at Home Depot tracey
