I think one of the Bruce's should answer this.. But from what I believe, he introduced himself, spoke with them for awhile and then ordered it to go.. Shortly after, the review came out..

Thats very funny.... to hear about One embarrassing memory comes to mind for me.. I was on a date at a restaurant in New York.. The place is called Jewel Bakko.. The place is the size of a subway car.. Tables are tightly spaced together.. Anyway, my date was swirling her glass of white wine when she must have gotten a chill..As the wine was swirling around, she flinched.. Causing white wine to spray out of her glass, hitting the couples on either side of us..We apologized profusely and I ended up buying both tables dessert..

I am glad you guys liked it.. I also wanted to address the sweet potato fries.. The reason why the reviewer stated that the fries were soggy was because he ordered take out.. What reviewer goes to restaurant and orders take out? The guy is so busy he cant sit at a restaurant and eat? I find that totally unprofessional and cant believe he didnt disclose that in his review.. What an ass.. How can someone get an honest feel for a restaurant by getting it to go? And then he has the balls to say the fries were soggy after they were sitting in a styrofoam box for an undisclosed amount of time? Thats like a guy complaining that his soup was cold after he decided to let it sit out for a few hours.. Has anyone ever ordered french fries, kept them in a box for a half hour and had them come out crispy.. What a joke!

I was there a couple of days ago.. I was upset to find that Your Place was closed... Also I was unimpressed with Jestines.. We got a drink on the roof of the Pavillion I think.. It was a lot of fun great views of the city..

Short Ribs.. Bought at the Korean Market. Added a ton of black pepper, a little cayenne and brown sugar.. Cooked until 135 and then grilled.. Had along side a cesar salad.. Bite: Worked well.. I have a couple left.. Might simmer them for a while...

As a kid, we got our first microwave when I was in seventh grade.. I remember hating everything that came out of it.. The only thing worth while were these microwave french fries.. They were called like Magic Fries or something.. It was this square box and each fry came in its own holder.. I remember them being very good..

Mine is pretty beat up too. I dont know why they made it so shiny.. I could only guess it moves off the shelf that way.. I have done trout wrapped in bacon which was very good.. Also made a smoked trout salad.. Edit: I take it back.. I made it in a real smoker.. But I would like to try that in this Cameron..

Hey nice pictures Chufi.. Looking forward to seeing and hearing about your future smoking adventures.. Its really a cool tool to have.. I just picked up a couple of Cameron Smoker Bags.. I have an Alder and a Mesquite Bag.. It seems really interesting, that is if it works.. The girl is either picking up pork shoulder or short ribs for me.. I want to smoke and then finish on the grill pan.. I just dont want to have a bad dinner tonight.. Has anyone tried these bags?

Last night I went to a Chinese Restaurant and experienced something for the first time.. Every person at the table ordered for themselves.. When dinner was served all the dishes were put in the middle of the table with big serving spoons.. Each person then put each dish in front of themselves, eating around the big serving spoon.. It was really a wierd experience.. There were no communal noodle, vegetable, rice, or tofu dishes.. No appetizers were split.. Just every person for themselves.. I ordered a soup and one dish.. For me, eating an enitre plate of squid in black bean sauce felt wrong.. I left completely unsatisfied and bored.. Do people do this often?

So funny you should post that.. I take the GW everyday and was going to ask the same question.. There were several times I was tempted to stop.. Jason's word is good enough for me..
