I score my squid, like most Asian chefs do. Take a knife, score the squid diagonally one way. Then go perpendicularly in the other direction.

Oh yeah, for a home bar all you need is: vodka, gin, rum, tequila, scotch bourbon triple sec vermouth that's it. "hey! can you make me a midori sour?" "nope, how bout jack on the rocks?"

My secret is to use tequila instead of vodka. Bloody Marias taste much better than bloody marys. Oh yeah, lots of hot sauce and lime.

Who are all of you? Here in the northeast, I'd say 4 out of 5 people say "bay-sil" We do that so that there would be more confusion between basil and a bay leaf.

Theres a bunch of Kennedy Fried chickens in Philly. Some of them have been replaced by Crown.

$7 waiter's friend. I think its what the majority of sommeliers around the world use. Cheap and dependable. edit: or maybe they use a more expensive one. don't know. Same type of lever though.

Bojangle's is similar to Popeye's...but not quite as good and not the same diversity of limited-time menu items. click for Bojangles locations Nonsense. BOJANGLES! is sooooo much better than "Guh guhuhuhuhuh!" Popeyes. Their sweet tea is awesome.
