  1. I can imagine! well glad to know your okay. my roommate laid hers down last year about this time. sucks cuz it got totalled so she whines everytime she sees a bike now. I think her dad does Vet Class motorcross. i'll have to ask her.
  2. cool. now i've got to hunt down frozen injera....
  3. is teff like ragi? i like ragi actually. if it's in sangati.
  4. did you lay it down? (the bike i mean)
  5. hee. thanks jason! i mean bomb pop. (altho i coulda sworn we called them astro-pops.) that's so strange...
  6. does injera taste like a dosa?
  7. doh. i meant bomb-pop not astro-pop in my original post. astropops are the candy, right?
  8. damn. i've just gotten even more respect for Sara. Who knew you could talk breakbeats with her?
  9. definitely astro-pops. and klondike bars (don't like the crunchy kind - the crispies remind me too much of chewing on balls of tinfoil) and cheap ice cream sandwiches like bloviatrix said. i also the single bar popsicles that come in lime, cherry and grape, can't remember their names, and dove bars. haagen dasz bars get an honorable mention. i also really like dairy queen misty floats, preferably cherry. soemtimes grape.
  10. and don't discount the white castle shoutouts. so the new albums good, then?
  11. y'all are gonna march in Pride next year, right?
  12. so i asked my coworker - she said Gas-X and avoiding high-fat foods helps. then we got into a convo about tummy tucks and boob lifts and she showed me her extra skin. i think we've bonded. no topic is taboo.

    Bubble Tea

i love bubble tea. or at least the bubble tea from the place i get it. the tapioca balls taste sorta caramelly to me.
  14. they are, but i believe tin drum is in reference to some village messenger or something. hang one one sec - let me find a link i learned that from... voici! http://atlanta.creativeloafing.com/2004-04-08/cheapeats.html
  15. *lol* no - it's a cheap eats university spot. asian fusion stuff, noodle bowls, spring rolls, fried rice, that kinda thing. but they do bubble teas as well.
  16. there's some stuff in that GA Tech square. I actually dig Tin Drum for it's fusion-y ways, altho others may not. believe it's at 4th, off spring. i may go there today actually. i really like their shrimp tempura rolls.
  17. i saw jeffrey on tv last night. welcome sarma! please tell me about this raw vegan wine, because i'm hopelessly intrigued.
  18. hmmm. wonder what can be done about the gas? i'm not sure i'm close enough to my coworker to ask, but she doesn't seem to have a reputation for being gassy around here, so maybe she's got some secret. want me to broach the subject?
  19. uhh..don't forget peanuts in your arah-cee.
  20. umm..isn't corn a grain? and how is wine raw or vegan? it's freakin' fermented grape juice with yeasts in it. i'm so confused.
  21. hmm...grated coconut and ginger. that's about it.
  22. i've always thought buckhead was passe. i'm a midtown girl through and through.
  23. yeah i've always know bean pie to be something that memebersof the Nation of Islam sell for fundraisers. everytime i think of beanpies i think of men in suits with bowties. i've never had one, but was always curious.
  24. so what's all this then? i missed reference to this stuff? (d'you mean like chlorophyll tabs?)
  25. garlic in and of itself is an anti-microbial, if that helps any. and an anti-fungal. and an anti-viral. it's magical.
