does get a bit boring though. we dont even have rooms we are only a restaurant. orestone manor is more suited to the fawlty theme!! but hey publicity is publicity and the local tourist board here are loving us at the moment for the surge in national press etc. it only took 35 years to get some positive pr after basil left.

I notice from your website as from mid next week that you are having a brasserie menu downstairs and moving the higher end restaurant upstairs. Are you going to be putting some sample menus on the website? I'd love to visit & sample menus always help persuade SWMBO.

we have started the brasserie this week to get us in the swing of things and the restaurant called "the room" will be open from tuesday night. website will be updated hopefully in the next day or two. if you p.m with your fax i can send the menu through regards simon

hi, business is picking up well, weather has helped and new restaurant is ticking over. christian is back from new zealand at the end of may . think he is coming to eastbourne to see old friends
