Because I like my cocktails as easy as possible, I ordered this and this and ir?t=egulletcom-20&l=am2&o=1&a=this.

I have #1 in the fridge chilling for the cocktail hour and I'm excited to try it!

C'mon five o'clock!

I like mine as easy as possible too. I'm not willing to use something crappy in the interest of easy but when easy and quality end up close together on the chart, I'm in. If sacrificing easy allows for a small increase in quality, easy is probably still going to win most of the time.

It's kinda like wrestling a gorilla... you don't stop when you're tired, you stop when the gorilla is tired.

Tonight I made a cocktail with the Bittermilk #5 (the charred grapefruit tonic mix together with white rum...and it it So good.  Just rum, mix, soda (equal parts) and a squeeze of lime.  So easy, just my style.

I know you sisn't ask, but...

I tried the Bittermilk #1 cocktail mix for Old Fashioneds..Oh My,.  I'm not usually an Old Fasioned drinker but now I'm a convert,  this stuff is really good.  I mixed it with Wild Turkey Rye and added a few ounces of soda.

BTW, is it "Old Fashioned", or is it 'Old Fashion'?

If you added soda I am afraid it's neither.

True, what JNW said, but to answer your question, it's "Old Fashioned" -- just like it's "corned beef," not "corn beef."

The reason I added the soda (which I should have mentioned in my last post) was because I splashed in a LOT of Rye and needed to dilute it rather than wait for the ice to do it.
