A friend sent me THIS LINK describing the new Le Creuset non-stick cookware.  Has anyone tried it?  Does anyone know anything about the construction or the coating?  Thanks!

No, I haven't seen it before.  I will ask about it at the Le Creuset booth at IHHS later this month.

IMO, the linked article is about 95% fluff.  It's difficult to tell much about the product or its relative advantages.

There is a Great Flailing in the current cookwear market, driven by the desperation of no real improvement.

Just get some vintage cast iron with machined smooth finish. My Wagners are as nonstick as any PTFE or anodized aluminum. Same as my cast iron wok.

I liked the looks of the LC sauté, just disappointed that it seems to only be available in the 4.5 qt. size, too big for my needs.  I currently have a 3 qt. All Clad that i love but at some point I'll have to replace it and AC no longer makes a non stick sauté.
