I posted this story as a ludicrous vignette, an old woman, cabbing to the ER in a bloodstreaked bathrobe near midnight in a pea soup fog.   Greeted by late dog walkers, and a few neighbors all of whom acted.  as if this were quite normal.   Of course this is San Francisco so maybe it is.
