Morimoto Cookbook

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Anybody else have this?  It's a beautiful book with many text and explanations.  Also, there is a mix of "doable" recipes and "too fancy to do at home" recipes.  The pictures are gorgeous.  His presentations are beautiful.  Overall I'd give it a 9/10.

Regards.

I do like the book but for me I feel like more of the recipes fall under the 'too fancy to do at home' category. At least for me anyway. Some of the ingredients he uses I just wouldnt have no idea where to find or are to expensive. I look at the book as more of a tunnel into Morimoto's mind and it really conveys his passion for his food. Maybe when I am a little more seasoned I will try some of his techniques.
