I would contend that it doesn't excel.

Fair enough. I tend to quite enjoy the results achieved by grilling. But I'll admit the tenderness from sous vide on these cuts is better.

I finally opened my latest issue of Cooks Illustrated. Features knife sharpeners. But not the EdgePro....  :hmmm:

how ever, it might be fine with the knives they recommend that are not that expensive.

 

better that sharpener with their knives than dull knives.

 

dull knives of every class are beyond ubiquitous

Quinoa looks good. Next time I make it I will follow this recipe through the cooking stage but use my own add-ins. One of the things I like in quinoa (and couscous) is some form of dried fruit such as chopped dried apricots, raisins, etc.

I like dried cranberries and TJ's has nice ones.
