  1. And here I always thought as soon as power went out in Canada food temperature safely dropped below the danger zone?? Can't speak for Florida, however. Never been there. Count me a fan of UPS. I have two 1500 VA units.
  2. I had some Midnight Moon this morning, lovely indeed, thanks.

    Lunch 2019

My version of low carb that I am about to go finish up with cheese and MR and apples: Not sure it's breakfast or lunch but my meal times are international. I am not a bigot. I am no respecter of time zones.
  4. Kerry beat me to it.
  5. Whatever else the light seems quite directional. There is not much spillover.
  6. The Click and Grow accessories are back in stock on their website. I ordered extension arms in hope of more than one pea. It's quite possible the temperature of my apartment is too warm for optimal germination.
  7. This explains it pretty well: https://blog.dilbert.com/2015/09/30/super-soil-reduces-the-odds-of-you-starving-to/
  8. No aerator. What would you want to aerate? LED's are said to be 13 Watts total: https://support.clickandgrow.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015415567-Smart-Garden-9-specifications
  9. My single germinated pea is halfway to the lights. Last I checked Click and Grow website still had no extension arms in stock to sell. I'll love to see what tomatoes you get.
  10. Reminds me a bit of Georgian walnut sauce.
  11. I got the email. Was thinking to ask a Bolivian friend to translate.
  12. I wonder if taking cuttings is legal?
  13. I in no way claim to be sure but Piennolo is described as a grape tomato while Jutland is 3-5 ounces, more similar to Mountain Magic.
  14. Thanks. However Jutland is billed as a Dutch tomato and this sounds Italian.
  15. I was planning to get a NIST "Atomic" clock for my kitchen wall but now I read congress has withdrawn funds from that as well. There is always the amazon Echo clock, although as of a couple days ago the Echo clock was unavailable. Seems Jeff did not order enough container ships full for the first delivery.
  16. Interesting.
  17. They say a picture is worth a thousand words...
  18. Interesting link! I was attracted by Jutland. I have no use for four plants (the minimum order) unfortunately and I can find no commercial source of seed. Has anyone tried growing Jutland? I did find contact information for the woman who supplied the Jutland seeds to heirloomtomatoplants but I don't want to bother her if there is a seed seller who has them. I would love to compare Jutland to Mountain Magic.
  19. Gorgeous! Not often I vouchsafe a "like" on kale.
  20. Today was my baking day as well! I'm finally sitting down to my mai tai while a couple of loves are cooling. Maybe pictures later. My considered take on last week's Gaahkoeh: great accompanying a soupy braise. For work sandwiches, not so much. I may make again. Particularly considering I have a lot of leftover rye flour to go through.
  21. Some peas fell out of my freezer this evening while I was fetching ice cubes and I noticed there was some meat beneath. I jammed the peas and meat back in as best I could.
  22. Hmm...wonder what my tax refund will be like?
  23. Inquiring minds are waiting patiently.
  24. But at least here the Mountain Magic plants cost no more than other varieties.
  25. I can't help but mention the Precise Heat Mixing Bowl.
