Thanks both for your good wishes and your suggestion. I am absolutely furious at the moment. They are clearly using AI to read the photographs and have done nothing to address the volume of calls that they should have expected. You cannot even wait on line.

Small-batch baking: pies, cakes, cookies, bread and bread rolls, etc.

Absolutely do not wish to take this off topic but I have one quick question. How well do the lids seal? -
This is now becoming annoying beyond reason! Cosori have now informed me that my model number is not one of those recalled. It is indeed one of those recalled. They are asking me to re-input all that information that they requested the first time. I am so angry. I have no air fryer because the cord is cut as they requested and now they are giving me a hard time about replacing it. I will try calling them when their phone lines open this morning..

Needs must when the devil drives.

Tried that and found it so sweet I didn't need jam!

If it is truly this esoteric surely a book claiming to teach technique ought to offer an explanation?

. @Kerry Bealand I tried a new place today. Saving Thyme bills itself as a French bistro. Menu Kerry had the chicken soup with sourdough toast. I had the roast beef sandwich. Wow. This was great food. That is just half of the sandwich!

Breakfast yesterday morning. Sliced up and seared smokie, scrambled eggs and blistered cocktail tomatoes.

I think the Japanese have such a unique relationship with fish as a food source that it's hard to imagine who has more invested in ensuring the highest quality available.

But can you eat it?

To the tune of lonnie Donegan's does your chewing gum lose its flavour on the bed post overnight?

I used to see a selection of these snack mixes in the Indian stores when I was visiting them. I never got around to trying them.

Looking at the amount of olive oil called for for six lemons my mind wanders to the sous vide method of confit duck which requires so much less Duckfat than the conventional method. Hmmmmm.

Well it will have to be plain crackers but I will certainly give this a try.
-
That does sound pretty amazing.

I am thinking one could also make a nice jar of preserved lemons with these.
-
And didn't we have a ice cream/sorbet recipe that called for a whole lemon? Strawberry maybe? Genius recipe maybe?

Here. Guy Savoy, who has been praised as the world’s best chef, has lost one of his Michelin stars. His Monnaie de Paris restaurant was awarded three Michelin stars by the Michelin Guide in 2002, according to the restaurant, and maintained the status for two decades. The restaurant jointly topped Paris-based guide La Liste’s 2023 world’s best restaurant selection for the sixth consecutive year. However, its Michelin status has been downgraded to two stars in the latest edition of the Michelin Guide France, to be published next week, the Michelin Group confirmed in a statement on Monday.

Where else but eG can one learn this stuff? Thanks. So much fun.

The logic of this completely escapes me.

Strangely I would love to try this. I enjoy kumquats so I imagine I might enjoy these.

I think you're absolutely on the right track here.
