I just received an email from the Amazon health and safety team telling me that the Cosori air fryer I purchased from them has been recalled. I thought that was pretty good customer service. I am not going to do too much about it until next week when I will investigate what I need to do to get it replaced because I do not want to not have my air fryer.

Normally I am kept to live by friends and occasionally family bringing in food but we had a bit of a issue with the weather as well as a misunderstanding and of course people do work and have families of their own to worry about. @Kerry Bealwas prepared to mount a rescue mission today had I not come home. No way would she let me starve!

I should have been more clear. I apologize. I'm home now thank God.

After almost a week in the hospital (best diet plan on the planet) I couldn't wait to share this latest innovative salad with you. Take some iceberg lettuce and tear it up. Leave it to brown for a little while. Add in one or two carrot shreds so you can call it a salad and dress it with Heinz white vinegar and some Mrs. Dash. I am not joking. To add to the insult it is served in a tiny bowl so that once you even approach it with your fork, it ends up all over the place. I swear the food is worse and worse. I had to spit out my first bite of a salmon salad sandwich because I swear the salmon died of old age a week ago. Why does it have to be this way? At least this time I was not served plastic containers of water imported from a couple of provinces to my west!

How is it that I manage to miss these interesting recipes in a book that I own and frequently consult? It is only when you post about them that I begin to see their potential. Surely there must be a role for you in the cookbook publishing world!

One of the reasons that I am reluctant to use my A4 box is not the fault of the box. I am afraid of using most things that sear lest I set off the smoke alarm. I know those suckers are for safety but if you are not very mobile there is no easy way to make them stop screaming! I am always afraid that my neighbours will come running. We need some better way of dealing with smoke alarms that maintains their safety features and gets rid of the rest! Like a remote control that would have limited ability to turn them off for a very short time or something. I just miss using my A4 (or most anything else that might produce smoke).

According to the faqs page you don't even have to still own the unit. Even if you have discarded it you are entitled to whatever of the replacements you choose. I was away from home when this whole thing came about so I will tackle it later next week.

I know nothing about this topic, however, a little research suggests that there are four seasonings. This is the screen capture from Amazon.

So mine falls under the recall but the one my granddaughter has, although I thought they were identical, does not. She acquired hers months later.

But the Milanese apparently approve. Here. "Not far from Milan’s famed cathedral, a bold yellow sign announced that the product is now on sale, while a large can of oil stood in the centre of the store. An oleato latte was described by one customer as having a “sweeter taste” that “went down smoother”. Another said that “the taste of coffee dominates the oil”."

Damn I think there are two in my house. One that is mine and one that is my granddaughter's. Thanks for this. I am looking into it or at least she is!

Just to play devil's advocate – – the sample pans that arrive packaged with an induction hob are almost always thin and cheap--suggesting that going for the finest of cookware is not the most appropriate route to take if you're going to make the best use of induction. Just saying. To sear a protein I'll tend to use a steel pan of the appropriate size for the hob. The heat evens out rapidly.

I think almost all of us have some bone to pick with the language. We all have expressions that make us shudder. Most of the time they are perfectly legitimate uses and we just have a hangup up about them. But if we were all allowed to make a preference a general rule I suspect we would be incapable of communicating anything at any time to anybody. But I still empathize with you.

Yes. That was it. We tried stockpiling them but eventually they ran out. Yes it was Reynolds.

Wow a system similar to that was all the rage when we first started using SV. If memory serves me well the pump was battery operated. I don't recall why it went out of favour. I bet @Kerry Bealwill remember it.

It looks very attractive but I don't think I could handle the fire. Still it's an admirable way to deal with leftovers.

Don't worry. Most of us North Americans have lost control of the taxonomy of noodles. Precision would be nice but it's an aspiration not a likelihood. 😂
-
We definitely need a swoon emoji for such things.

I wish I could offer you some advice but I don't have a huge amount of experience with instant noodles. Further, availability in different areas is all over the map. For the most part they are cheap so trying a few different varieties won't break the bank. I hope somebody else can be a bit more specific.
-
Thanks. Exactly the same as the ones I get. I tend to treat them more as a snack than a meal. I see, though, that they are often supplemented just as the soupy noodles are with eggs, vegetables, etc., to make them into a "balanced" meal.
-
Another bonus of the Kindle version. I have yet to lose one!

The only version of these noodles I can easily get is the mi goreng. They are not soupy noodles. I see yours are labelled dry noodles. Can I make the assumption that they are also not soupy. Or does the dry refer to the fact that the noodles are dried? It is said there are no silly questions but this might be one of them.

In a way I find this all very amusing. Even if lungs appeared today on my online grocery store listing there is not an ice cube's chance in hell that I'm going to buy them.
-
And that is exactly why I found it necessary to remark upon it. Once I hit that roadblock I questioned the accuracy of everything even though I believed it was a simple slip up.

That is good news.
