  1. @ElsieD I have the Sous Chef 16 Pro and bought the Dicing Kit to go with it. It turns out that the Sous Chef Pro is not the same as the Sous Chef (?). The spindle in the kit does not fit my FP! I am very upset with myself and with Breville e for not making this clear.
  2. Does this help?
  3. My mistake, I though you'd got the set of three dicers.
  4. No. with the Sous Chef 16 the compatibility kit is not needed. I have the Sous Chef 16 and just ordered the 3 disc set.
  5. @ElsieD If I'm not mistaken, your dicing kit included an 8mm disc.
  6. Actually, now that you've got me thinking about it, I'd probably go for the 8mm disc if they made one for my model.
  7. I think I mentioned somewhere that the P-9 has only the 12mm grid and that is the only one available in for that model, at least as of now. For me, that's all I really need.
  8. If you get one you will be very pleased with it!!!
  9. This looks like a great recipe to use with the Paradeicers.
  10. The Paradice 9 has only the one dicing blade, it's the 12msize. I doubt that you'd need any others unless you're planning to dice everything.
  11. Beautiful! I'm thinking I'll use it for making potato salad next.
  12. The 'care and usage' script at the Sur La Table specifies 'hand wash only' but I don't think that's correct. Every item in my Paradice 9 is d/w safe.

  14. I know you want this..
  15. Very nice! The Paradice 9 which is what I have, has only one dicer blade which is only half that size. Still, it's a nice size for me.
  16. Can't wait to hear all about it!!!
  17. Maybe you could sell your Sous and buy the Paradice.
  18. I finally broke out the Paradice 9 to make a pot of corn chowder. I was mostly interested in how well the unit would dice. I'm pretty impressed; the potatoes, the bell peppers, cheese and onion all were diced perfectly! Watch it in action here.
  19. These pots are so well made I doubt you'd ever need to replace parts. I don't know about accessories. .
  20. I'm not an IP fan either. I AM a big Fissler fan, though. Expensive, yes, but really high quality.
  21. The latest entry in the 'Panini Press' thread reminded me that ATK is now endorsing the cooking of bacon in a frypan with a TBSP or two of water. (for smaller portions of course) I rarely cook bacon because of the usual mess; this method I will have to try.
  22. Love the inclusion of the cat!!!
  23. Fabulous looking food!!!
