  1. when I saw ' ribette ' then ' BBQ Sauce ' I immediately thought of McD. the ribette would have had to be made of pork , and end up being purple So it couldn't have evolved from McD.
  2. I forgot to mention my interest in the soups : "" HomeMade From Scratch " well : Id like to see the Rx for the Detox Soup . im thinking the thoughts are it will help you with all those FreeRadicals , and other Radicals circulating here and there ? these days , I hope its Potent.
  3. IKEA Seniors breakfast club puts McD to shame i used to enjoy it , no coffee the second visit , before i ventured in to their unique maze. felt fortified at least until lunch then id ask for directions
  4. except for the various lights the Panorama, last pic reminds me of the IKEA eating area and their food was not only very reasonably priced in the two IKEA's Ive been to esp in E.PaloAlto where Seniors used to meet for a $ 1.99 breakfast etc but tasty their coffee was dreck , but hot \I do roast my own green beans , because I learned to do this and no Im not coffee snob. IKEA has fome fine stuff from well , Scandinavia ! Smoked Salmon . odd fruit jams and jellies from the short spring etc
  5. Please Excuse I do prefer the French pronunciation excuse in french no matter as eG is one tough group I forgot to mention Extremely Fair Cheers @Anna N Tenacity along w Good Humor matters a great deal.
  6. eG is one tough group , that's for sure. sneak in some seasoning , of one's choice and I would have tried at lest a bit of the TML and those SW w WW Id just have tossed one slice of WW , and made a double-1/2 SW. Im not claiming Id have must more than one bite after all , I did survive 3 BK $ 1 Tacos.
  7. these sandwiches seem to be produced by the Scoop and Smash method.
  8. is there a cafeteria ? I agree w @gfweb most of what we've seen so far is brought in from elsewhere. probable not that Sunday Joint Plate.
  9. Soooo : What's on the "" Special Guest Menu "" and for Regular Guests ? its sort of reminds me of the FBI and Special Agents .
  10. so why the sealed water ? some one should send some e-mails somewhere
  11. still can't get over the margarine and water in a plastic cut sealed w alumnim . . .you get thirsty , what do you do ? no disposable plastic jugs of ( tap ) water ? is non-isolation different ? at least someone in FoodService [sic] though of the Turkey Meat Loaf on has to start somewhere !
  12. Pasteurized is not sterilized. pasteurized milk , in a sealed carton will go bad at room temp. same w SV. even SV will go bad in a refrigerator eventually. look into the ' danger-zone - temps for SV
  13. in theory : the meat will only stay pasteurized at or above 130 F depending on your container , if not insulated , it may fall w/o additional heat to keep it above 130 F
  14. more time will be fine at 130 F higher temps are not so forgiving. pick a convenient time thats over 31 hours. do you plan a rapid chill then cold refrigeration ? that's more important . keep some notes on this and future SV projects SV always gets a bit better w personal experience.
  15. PS : RB40 Ive only done for 48 hours w meat that might have been nice w/o E of the R : maybe 3 days no more. if in doubt when sliced thin for that SW on WW : Mayo , and just enough of it
  16. Baldwin suggests for eye of the R 130 F 24 - 48 h so 36 h might make something nice for tomorrow sandwich. sliced thin. I can't see this cut for a " Roast Beef Dinner " i.e. hot.
  17. @Smithy no matter. always better to spot these things at some point. if you don't care for 140 F chicken , I think you might consider 142.5 F seems trivial , but its not. note the Jus in the bag lower temps make nice starter gravy.
  18. @Anna N Turkey MeatLoaf ! w Gravy ! mashed potato ! Carrots ! wow ! things are beginning to look better ! at least on paper ! [ oddly , I would have liked to have a taste, for ref. purposes. ] I don't know what a social tea cookie is . are there Anti-Social tea cookies N. of the Border ? who knew . Id ask for a Hot Fudge Sundae extra hot fudge. just saying.
  19. @Anna N well what you need is a 3D- ''' Printed - i.e. assembled "" sandwich. Im not going to agonize you with what the Sandwich is but , we really have a failure of the Trillion-Air Silicon Moguls. not for the C***R****A***P that they hide but the 3-D printer Ive seen at my local library and so many others seem to make rubber Dinos. I remember some time back , way back , when in the Comic Books Dick Tracy had a watch , TV like etc now you can get that watch at Apple but why can't those Nooobs make a 3-D Printer that can take the perfect Sandwich and send that anywhere ? to @Anna N ? and no I haven't hit the MR just yet but TJ's has another 4.99 dry white w no oak nor benzene Im currently evaluate. my point is simple : Put a Smile on @Anna N face.
  20. @liamsaunt wonderful and colorful posts. looks so delicious good for you and a big thank-you for the Menu's Ill be making my selections soon.
  21. @Anna N I think its wonderful you can stay in good spirits. it will help alot once you get some decent take-out cheers

  23. two for one ! nice. best of luck on the Evening / Midnight Snack !
  24. Id never heard of Green Garbanzo Beans : """"Green garbanzo beans are harvested before the beanhardens into the familiar brown chickpea. The beansare bright green and have the flavor and satisfying pop of edamame but without soy! Green garbanzo beansare the perfect light snack "" GGB : a perfect light snack Wow.
