Baking with Myhrvold's "Modernist Bread: The Art and Science"

VERY interested in the huitlacoche sourdough. Can't wait to see your results! -
Sorry. Loin. Not tenderloin.

Yeah, I feel your contractor pain. I have some whopper stories, too. Love your stove.

Deep into Christmas decorating and cleaning around here. Our hunter gets here a few days after Thanksgiving. For once, I'm cautiously feeling a bit ahead of the game...... But, that won't last. Anyway, it's been either quick meals or meals I can do SV. Hot wings, salad and fries SV pork tenderloin that turned out really good. Spaghetti Red and canned tamales

Those prices almost caused a panic attack for me.

Wow, Kim, it all looks sooooo goooooood. I wish I could have bought a bunch of it.... -
Yes, thank you so much, Kerry! You've got to be exhausted from all of this travel and I know you are very happy to sleep in your own bed.

I found this question and answer on Amazon: Are the racks and drip tray dishwasher safe? Answer: The oven rack, backing pan, air fryer basket and crumb tray should be hand washed in hot, sudsy water or use a nylon scouring pad or nylon brush. The are NOT dishwasher safe. That's a main question I have. After having the CSO I now believe that all ovens should come with a steam cleaner.

Ok, I'll look for your thread. Thanks

Just saw a commercial for this Cuisinart Convection Toaster Oven Air Fryer . Anyone have one of these? Is it being discussed some where around here? I could never ever give up my beloved CSO........ I could give my Breville to Ronnie to use in the garage........ Someone, quick, tell me I don't need this.

Ann T's Honey Garlic Chicken again--I can't get enough of that stuff Pheasant and quail season opened this weekend. Ronnie and Chum got several pheasants and one quail. I fried and then pressure cooked the thighs, hearts, gizzards and one breast. The livers I just fried. I'm going to experiment with the quail and a pheasant breast later this week. The rest I will vac. pack and freeze. Apple pie for dessert.

Starting a high profile new restaurant (after closing another)

Good stuff! -
Thank you !!!! Yes, I did it in the CSO. The glass pan used to be my Grammy's. It's the perfect size to make a lasagna and not have leftovers for days. It's 5" wide, 8" long and 3 1/2" tall.

Well that's a total bummer.

Very interesting. So very foreign to me!

This might be a candidate for the hunter's breakfasts! Do they re-heat well?
-
I cannot believe that price!!! I better not show Ronnie. He'd be in the car in a hot minute on his way to Connecticut.

I'm in another food rut. Our usual Sunday chicken meal except I was craving Stove Top stuffing so I made some of that. Green beans are the ones I pressure canned this summer. I am going to have to plant more beans. We love these things. Ronnie smoked a domestic turkey breast for a bit and then I SV'd it. So, turkey sandwiches and tots.

Oh how great!!!!! You are going to be a busy baker
