Fried chicken last night

Of course This was my first time ever making one. I was nervous, but it turned out pretty good. I was going to attempt meringue but it was too humid so I nixed that idea.

My mom is here for a few days so I made one of her favorite pies--coconut cream.

My mom has been here the last few days and we're having a ball--so much fun that I often am forgetting to take pictures of our meals but here are a few: Deviled eggs, cheese/salami, beets and sausage rolls Striped bass, frog legs, mac and cheese, cucumber salad and some zucchini Rice noodle salad

Really?! Huh. I just set mine to tape and it didn't tell me that I couldn't. That is such a bummer!

Thank you for this. I miss him, too. I guess it's a little weird to say that about someone I've never met, but it's true.

It isn’t dry . We have sandy soil— good for farming and gardens. yes we have a well Carol is exactly right. Ronnie rigs up sprinklers and places them around the garden.

Thank you! I planted 3 rows of lettuce and nary a sprout. It must have been too hot already I guess. And this year the collards didn’t come up either. They usually replant themselves but they just have run out of oomph. Meh, like the wise dcarch said, weeds don’t hurt a thing. Don’t be ashamed of all of your hard work! i hope you are in on the mend!!!

Took garden pictures today. Beans and and cucumbers and two zucchini plants (we thought they were cukes lol ) potato patch. They look so good on top...I hope they are making taters underneath peppers okra tomatoes corn and in the background zucchini and watermelon onions Eggplant And then this is the upper garden— Ronnie planted a bunch of old seeds that we weren’t sure would grow More beans, zucchini, pumpkins, cantaloupe
