115F since there was skin on it and I wanted to crisp it up. Ronnie does not care for salmon if it's not a bit flakey but still moist.

Oooooooh, I'm excited!!!! Our neighbors helped their friends move to Newfoundland a couple years ago (they are Mennonite and would go to the ends of the earth to help someone ) and they brought me back the most wonderful blueberry jam. I can't wait to see your food and adventures! Anything good to eat on the plane?

That's what I would do--time/temp for thighs and check it about 15 mins earlier by taking the internal temp.

I have been re-reading all of the CSO threads and I was enabled to buy the Old Stone Oven baking stone.

I think so. I ordered more seeds this morning and should be able to directly plant into the soil early next week. Thank you. Beautiful veggies!!!

Sad news over here ( @HungryChris look away). Every morning and every evening I diligently look under the leaves of the squash plants to look for the ever dreaded squash bug eggs. Yesterday morning I had the internet guy here (again) so I didn't do it. Yesterday evening.....inundated with the little bastards. They had to have laid underground on the stem or something. Plants are already almost dead. I am ordering more seeds to see if we can maybe do a second round of plants. Total bummer In other sad news, the wind has been like a blow dryer on the hottest setting. The flowers on the bean plants won't set. I'm not the only one with problems like this--people all around are having the same issues. Maybe things will turn around now, it's supposed to be cooler and stormy.

This chart is amazing.

I use a Brita pitcher to fill the reservoir--we have major minerals in our well water. I've had to decalcify once--it kept telling me my reservoir was empty when it was completely full. Somewhere on these threads I describe the process. I'll see if I can find it.

Ronnie's daughter wanted to get rid of gave us some beef tongue that came from her uncle's cattle and I immediately thought of what you did with yours @HungryChris As long as it's not freezer burned, I will be following your instructions

Thank you I used firm tofu, cut it in cubes and marinated it in a bit of oil and soy sauce. Then I spread them out on parchment on a pan and baked for about 30 mins at 375.

Yep, I love the steam clean feature. Same as Kay, run it, wipe it out, done.

Air conditioning has decided to be a bit uncooperative. That makes Shelby kind of ....bitchy. So, I needed something nice and cool last night. Lettuce wraps and fried rice

I just bought some of those--haven't opened them yet. I feel guilty if I have more than one package open at a time 🙃 I opened these They aren't bad. They definitely have little pieces of puffed millet in them and that gives them a very popcorny taste. Further tasting will be needed.

You will love it!

My new CSO just got here. She's a girl. Now to decide whether to keep her in the box, or let her out on the counter........

Hello Jack! Yes, I have the L8SKL Lodge pan and it fits. I don't have the lid, though. You will love the Lodge pan. I use mine a LOT.
