Has anyone been to the new Pier Shops at Caesars in AC? I didn't realize that it had opened until a friend commented to me today that he had an excellent meal at Buddakan last night. The website lists the following restaurants as being open: Buddakan, Sonsie, The Continental, The Trinity Pub and Game On. I understand that three additional restaurants are expected to open shortly: Phillips Seafood, Rumjungle and Souzai Sushi. I am only familiar with Buddakan from Philly however I understand that Sonsie is a very popular (and trendy) restaurant in Boston. Any other info would be appreciated.

I was at the pier last month. It's pretty nice in there. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants however.

There is a really neat water show in the back towards the ocean on the ground level.

Thanks for your reply NJ2FLA. I will check it out myself shortly.

Not food related but...The Company I work for ( Michael Kors) just opened a store there, last month. The Pier is supposed to be a great shopping venue.

Just another place to spend your money..

I understand it is still a work in progress, so only time will tell how successful The Pier will be.

Cook456 and Eyedoc - How would you you rate the Pier as far as a must see attraction in AC? Right now I send friends to either the Quarter at the Trop or the Borgata. Both are the C=closest I believe to the Las Vegas type atmosphere people are looking for and what I believe AC is trying to establish.
