Sommelier Wine and Food Society

Has anyone taken the nine week Wine Captain's Course in Washington DC, offered through the Sommelier Wine and Food Society?

We're very interested in learning more about wine, and we're considering taking this course, but we thought we'd ask for feedback from egulleters who are familiar with it. Or if you can recommend another course in the DC area, that would be great, too. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.
