Was a big fan of the American Grill, haven't been in several years,

found it to be to inconsistent.

The Restaurants in my area that I have found to be consistently good

time after time are:

Luzzie's - Rockaway

Navona - Rockaway

Rod's - Madison

Looking for some good places to try !

We've had good lunches at Garlic Rose, in Madison, and at Toscana Trattoria, in Chester (in nice weather, pleasant outdoor seating).

Although it's been some time since we last had dinner at Pierre's, in Morristown, and Serenade, in Chatham, neither has ever disappointed us.

I'd also suggest that you give An American Grill another shot; I can't make any comparisons to what it used to be like, but I think the restaurant is terrific NOW.
