According to the respective companies' web sites, a Big Mac has 580 calories, while a Krispy Kreme glazed yeast doughnut has 200.

Krispy Kreme has chosen to celebrate Doughnut Day and the whole summer season with a new product -- a Key Lime doughnut that comes with Key Lime custard filling, graham cracker crumbles, and cream cheese frosting.

I understand that Dunkin' Doughnuts began in the Boston area. If that's true, the invasion of Krispy Kreme would be especially significant.
