Unfortunately, the Figaroscope is totally wrong. Michel del Burgo has been telling everyone, for some strange reason, that he is taking over Jamin, which according to them caused them a lot of grief, and is simply not true. The sad thing is, Jamin is being turned into an Antillaise restaurant in another four days...

Anti-alcoholics are unfortunates in the grip of water, that terrible poison, so corrosive that out of all substances it has been chosen for washing and scouring, and a drop of water added to a clear liquid like Absinthe, muddles it." ALFRED JARRY

Since this thread seems to have morphed into a Michel del Burgo "sighting" place, be it noted that no less an observer than Francois Simon, in a “Croque Notes” article called “The narcissism of chicken” says that the peripatetic chef (ex-Carcassonne, Taillevent, Gordes, Negresco, Moscow, Jamin) is taking over l'Orangeraie de l'Île Saint-Louis in September, "by golly!" I'm not holding my breath.

For those interested in what's happened to the exJamin space that Fresh_a refers to, check the Digest for the reviews of the new food.

He has indeed opened l'Orangerie as of last week and on which I'll report next week (don't hold your breath, it's price-quality ratio is abysmal.)
