We have been on a seafood kick.  Oysters again along with some fried cod.

Macaroni and cheese and some spinach to go with.

Yesterday I had to venture out on my own to the big city which included the grocery store.  Always dangerous to let me loose in there by myself.  They have a fancy cheese section.....unfortunately it's filled with mostly, well, not boring, but nothing edgy or different.  You know what I mean?  But, still, it's fun to peruse.  Right away I spied a huge round thing that looked exactly like a cantaloupe. Hmmmm...this looked interesting.  It was Mimolette cheese .  I looked at the price of a pound of it and was kind of surprised.

I rooted around until I found a small piece.    It was .25 lb. I just had to try it.  It looked so interesting and I really had to see what $24 a pound cheese tastes like 🤣

It was good.  Like a  hard, sharp cheddar.  Wouldn't spend that much for it again, though.  But it was fun to try.

On to dinner.  I had some crab leftover from the other night (I know, weird right?) so I made ravioli and a light cream sauce.
