Using Frozen Blueberries in Blueberry Muffins

I will be making some blueberry muffins later this week, and I may not be able to get quality, fresh blueberries.  If frozen blueberries are used, should their preparation be treated differently than fresh?  I've never made blueberry muffins with frozen berries, so I'm unsure as to how to proceed.  Thanks!

Totally fine. Don't thaw the berries before adding to the batter. I use them all the time.

Toss them in with the dry ingredients, and make sure they get coated. When adding the wet mixture, do it quickly with as little stirring as possible. This will prevent clumping and also help keep the color of the batter from turning grey.
