Hi All - I'm considering the following Wybauw books:

Fine Chocolates 2 - Great Ganache Experience

Fine Chocolates Great Experience 3 - Extending Shelf Life

I currently have "Fine Chocolates Great Experience" (with the cross-section of the cinnamon truffle on the cover), but would like to know if each of his books have different recipes or if he recycles some of them (ie- uses the same recipes in multiple books).

Does anyone out there own these books and if so, would you mind taking a pic of the Index so I could compare with mine if there are duplicate recipes?  Also I'd like to see if the recipes are interesting enough to spend so much $$ on them.  Thanks much!

Maybe you could get them on Amazon.com for cheaper.  (I don't have them.)

I have Fine Chocolates Great Experience and Fine Chocolates 2: Great Ganache Experience.  They do seem to have mostly or entirely different formulas.  The second book doesn't have a traditional index.

I've got # 2 and#3. The content and information is great and well written, but after spending the money on #3. I decided I would never use recipies that had all those "wierd sugars" in them. I also feel I paid way too much for double page spreads of food porn. The pics are nice, but really not neccesary, you could have concentrated the information into about na qurter of the book.

Thanks for the info. It's hard to decide on a pricey book without being able to flip through it. I think given the uncertainty of the recipes, I'll hold off for now.
