Wadleigh's Chocolate Chip Cookies

This recipe yields a moist, somewhat chewy cookie.

  • 1/2 c margarine
  • 1/2 c shortening
  • 3/4 c white sugar
  • 3/4 c brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp water
  • 2 eggs
  • 2-1/2 c flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 oz chocolate chips

Cream margarine, shortening, and sugar. Add vanilla, water and eggs, then add flour, baking soda and salt. When mixed add chocolate chips.

Spoon onto baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes at 375F.
